BICSI South Pacific Region Annual
Conference - Guest Speaker
Title: Missing the obvious
Time : 45 – 60 mins plus Q
& A. We would love the opportunity to have Q & A section.
Key point of presentation:
How to create abundant sales and marketing strategies.
Points covered during
presentation.
-
Seeing the big picture of your
industry. What do you provide?
IQ vs. EQ (Emotional Intelligence). Why EQ is proving to be the key
ingredient and more significant than IQ.
-
Simple example, you decide to
buy a car which you had not seen many of. Once you decide and purchase the
car you see them everywhere.
-
We will have a number of
examples of how the mind filters things. This will then be related to
sales and marketing.
-
How to see the obvious. How to
create an environment where these OBVIOUS things stand out.
-
In most business’s, work can be
carried out in an isolated fashion to create normal vs. extraordinary
results and generally there is a lot of dissatisfaction. The outcome
generally is looking at problems rather than the solution and not working
on a team. We focus on people seeing the big picture, work together in a
team to create something phenomenal. (Look at what is available when you
shift your perception and see who you are creating your product, service
for). When you are focusing on who you are creating for you generate a
team environment, the vision is shared and extraordinary results occur.
-
Explore catch phrase “buyer
beware” or “what is the point they end up doing what they want anyway”.
Why does this occur and how to create the opposite in your business.
Communication is the key. Simple example of communication skills will be
given based on EQ.
-
Our focus as individuals. How
does it affect our decisions and client decisions?
-
Product or service development.
How to develop a product. Generally speaking companies and or individuals
develop a product or service and work out a way to market it. In other
words companies create a square peg and spend the life cycle of the
product hammering it into the customers requirement (a circle).
-
You have an existing product or
service. Options on marketing approach “how to add true value to your
client”.
-
How to see the broader picture.
Some basic and simple examples that show how the mind works and more
importantly how it affects Sales and marketing.
-
Under promising and over
delivering vs. over promising and under delivering. This is a real concern
for buyers and organizations in any industry. Practical examples.
-
Go through some real life
examples of this paradigm. We do have alternate real examples we can use
if required.

Achieving Peak
Performance: |

|
This
presentation will show you how to prepare your employees for high
productivity and your company for maximum profitability. . . how to
grow a well-trained, educated and motivated team. Teaching people
skills without giving them a vision for a better future—a vision
based on common values—is only training. He goes beyond dictionary
definitions to show that yesterday's thinking looks at the tasks
people perform today and asks "How can we train our future employees
to do these things?" Tomorrow's thinking looks at the kind of people
needed to fulfill corporate strategy and finds ways to educate
employees to become those kind of people. |
